Pouneh Bligaard, CEO & Co-Founder
Dragonfly Asset Management
'The Rise of the New Internet: The Enormous Potential of Crypto'
Dragonfly Asset Management was born from a simple but powerful idea: that Crypto was ready for a more mature, institutional approach. Founded in London three years ago by award-winning fund manager Pouneh Bligaard, Dragonfly brings decades of investing experience and a strong belief in blockchain’s long-term potential. Since launching the Dragonfly Digital Assets Fund, the team has built a solid three-year track record—managing a long-only portfolio of large-cap, highly liquid digital assets with real competitive advantages.
Pouneh is an Iranian-born mother of three. She is a seasoned investor with 25+ years of award-winning fund management experience, including senior roles at MUFG and HSBC. As Co-Head of Equities at MUFG, she managed £2bn across multiple funds, including a top-performing early-stage technology growth trust that won several performance awards over nine years. Pouneh’s strategy is to apply her decades of investing expertise and proven investment approach to identify blockchain projects with strong fundamentals and high growth potential.
