Sleep – it’s something we all have to do. But for people with ADHD it’s something they hate to do or just can’t do. Some people wear their sleep deprivation like a badge of honor.
But sleep is essential. If you aren’t sleeping well, nothing gets better. Stimulants don’t work or they wear off too fast. You’re irritable, can’t make decisions, can’t find words. And everything is just too much effort.
The good news is you CAN be a better sleeper. In this webinar we will talk about some of the reasons why sleep is so hard for people with ADHD. But we will spend most of the time talking about strategies that will help you get a good night’s sleep.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize how poor sleep affects us physically and mentally
- Understand different reasons why you may have trouble sleeping
- Identify specific strategies that you can use right away to help you get more sleep
