The HTI-5 proposed rule could significantly impact the DirectTrust community. Among other changes, it would substantially reduce the number of EHR certification criteria, potentially eliminating requirements related to the Direct Project and other areas that support the Direct Standard®.

During the briefing, healthcare compliance expert and advisor John Travis will provide a high-level overview of the proposed rule, followed by a focused discussion on provisions most relevant to DirectTrust members and accredited organizations. Time will also be reserved for questions, with future listening sessions planned for deeper discussion on areas of interest.
