This interactive course will cover basics for using NREL HPC resources. An active NREL HPC user account and a computer will be required.

This course will be held in ESIF B308 - Insight Center Visualization Room
The two hour course will consist of two Sessions (you are welcome to attend one or both of the sessions):
Session 1 - 10:00 AM ~45 minutes
Introduction to Linux for HPC
-Set up your system to use HPC
-Cover the basics of using the Linux command line
-Basics of remote system access (SSH) and Linux permissions
Break - 10:45 - 15 minutes
Session 2 - 11:00 AM ~60 minutes
Introduction to NREL HPC Systems
-Explore HPC File Systems
-Software environments and modules
-Introduction to Slurm
-Getting productive with Eagle
