The Cardano Foundation, Draper Dragon and Draper University invite you to a community AMA session focused on the proposed US$80M Cardano Ecosystem Fund (“DDC Fund”).
This session will provide an overview of the proposal to support Draper Dragon and Draper University in establishing a fund to scale Cardano growth and adoption over the next six years. This is an opportunity for community members to engage with both the Cardano Foundation and Draper teams, deepen their understanding of the fund's strategic pillars, and address any questions before the Budget Info Action submission to Mainnet.
The agenda will cover the following key areas:
- Strategic Rationale: How this fund aligns with the Cardano 2030 Vision, Mission, and Strategy Framework to drive real-world utility and enterprise-grade infrastructure.
- Direct Investments: Backing high-potential startups, from accelerator graduates to pre-Series A teams, and providing strategic access to Tier 1 exchanges and institutional networks.
- Growth Capital: Driving ecosystem utility through global marketing, liquidity provisions, and an in-house venture studio for technical guidance.
- Educational Support: Strengthening the talent pipeline via a Growth Accelerator and Hacker House to help developers launch RWA, DeFi, and enterprise solutions.
- Transparency & Treasury Returns: A breakdown of the proposal’s governance structure and reporting, alongside a discussion on how the fund aims to generate returns for the Cardano Treasury.
We encourage all interested parties to review the
detailed proposal on the Cardano Forum before the session. Feedback and questions are welcome on the forum until
January 20, 2026 after which the Budget Info Action will be submitted to Mainnet.
