This session is mandatory for all first-year Osgoode JD students. At this session, we will review the Academic Rules that apply to Osgoode's JD program, including the rules establishing our grading profile, procedures regarding grade appeals, accommodations, exam deferrals and paper extensions, our academic honesty policy, York University’s Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities, and York University's Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education.
For those unable to attend the live session, a recording will be posted at this webpage (https://www.osgoode.yorku.ca/my/jd/academic-support/academic-success-sessions/understanding-the-academic-rules-for-1ls/). All first-year JD students must complete the webform attestation available at the same webpage, once they have viewd the session (either live or via the recording). The Zoom info will aslo be posted at this same webpage.
