Local Government PACE Roundtable

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is hosting a Regional Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Roundtable on May 3, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. This Roundtable will provide an opportunity for city leaders to learn more about what PACE is and how it has been implemented by cities and counties in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Since 2013, nine local governments have established PACE programs including the cities of Burleson, Corinth, Dallas, Farmers Branch, and Princeton; the Town of Prosper; and Denton, Navarro and Tarrant Counties. This program has been implemented by these local governments to support economic development, environmental, and other community goals.

NCTCOG invites local governments to attend this information session and hear from member governments who have implemented a PACE program, discuss the needs in the region to encourage additional adoption of PACE programs, and explore interests in the provision of a regional PACE program option as a service provided by NCTCOG. NCTCOG will share information about technical assistance readily available to assist cities and/or counties with adoption of PACE programs in the region.

This event is designed for city and county member governments.

NCTCOG invites external parties and non-local government groups to join the meeting around 2:15 p.m. to participate in the Q&A session and discussion.
