ARTICLE 19 and Ranking Digital Rights have developed a pioneering shadow Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA) tool called the Community Assessment of the Rights Impacts in the Tech Industry (CLARITI) to address human rights challenges. This innovative approach is rooted in community needs and aims to empower civil society to conduct independent, shadow-based assessments of the tech sector. The session will provide an opportunity to test drive the tool and share the experience of the shadow assessment conducted by two civil society organizations.
