QPR stands for question, persuade, and refer – three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year, thousands of Americans like you are saying "yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, family member, or neighbor.
This session is open to all any University of Arizona employee or student at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus to learn how to recognize suicidal behavior in co-workers, family, and friends and to ask important questions.
QPR Gatekeeper Training is brought to the University of Arizona by Life & Work Connections and Campus Health. Learn more about QPR from the QPR Institute.
