Indigenous communities and IPHRDs in Asia face reprisals while protecting land and the environment. Global supply chains and the push for sustainable energy exacerbate risks of violations. The session will bring perspectives of Indigenous Peoples on effective remedy approaches, gaps in justice mechanisms and recommend ways for states, corporates, and DFIs to prevent and address human rights violations.
