From our experience in the Section 2 space, one challenge that GAMSAT Candidates face has been the ability to craft pieces of writing that resonate with markers on an emotional and intellectual level. Whether you're writing a creative, argumentative or expository style essay, this session is designed to help you craft essays that truly resonate with your readers and stand out in the GAMSAT.

Embark on a Writing Adventure
Our workshop is a must for those navigating the complexities of Section 2. Andy, our S2 Academic Lead who holds multiple PhDs and is a published author, will guide you on the first steps required for all candidates to begin crafting meaningful and layered essays in Section 2. Andy will be joined by Toritse, who comes from an American educational background and scored 82 in Section 2. Tortoise, referring to her mentoring & teaching experiences, will offer invaluable insights into how to overcome writers’ blocks & mind blanks when it comes to composing writing in Section 2.

What We Will Cover: After an introduction into the structure & purpose of Section 2, Andy & Toritse will focus on the first steps required to compose meaningful pieces of writing - with a focus on what to during planning time. They will then turn their attention on how to structure pieces of writing in Section 2, as well as how to overcome roadblocks, before finishing with a dedicated Q & A session at the end of the workshop.
