11.15am - Tour Guide Professional Development Workshop.
For current tour guides and any interested aspiring guides.
- General tour guiding and storytelling tools by Russell from Savannah Guides.
- Whitsundays specific reef knowledge by Master Reef Guides
1.15pm - Overview of Professional Development Opportunities for Tour Guides
An informative session for current and aspiring tour guides and managers.
1.45pm - Concurrent Sessions (Choose which you are most interested in)
Session 1: Great Barrier Reef Storytelling, hosted by Master Reef Guides
For aspiring and current tour guides.
- How to tell the stories of the reef, by Master Reef Guides

Session 2: Building High-Standard Tour Guiding In Your Business.
