As a Canadian, Olga was looking for a different way of life, one that offered a closer connection to nature and a stronger sense of community. After her husband joined an Ecovillage Tour in Costa Rica in 2025, their family made the decision to relocate to Alegría Village, an intergenerational intentional community that is home to more than 100 residents, including owners and renters, families, couples, and individuals from around the world. Today, she enjoys the sense of connection, collaboration, and belonging that first inspired their move. In 2026, Olga joined the CommunityFinders team, where she shares the practical lessons, insights, and realities of community living with others who are exploring a similar path.
