Engaging The Active Candidate

Candidate availability is rising at its sharpest rate in months, and redundancies are a large part of why. There are more people in the market looking than there have been in a long while.

So shortlists should be getting easier. For most desks they aren't, and the conclusion being drawn is that the good people can't be found. The constraint is engagement rather than supply.

This session is about what an active candidate market asks of you: how the people worth placing are choosing who to reply to, why an approach that worked two years ago now gets ignored, and what to do with the applications, CVs and screening volume arriving alongside the opportunity. We'll also cover the candidates already on your database who nobody has spoken to because there's no live role for them.

You'll leave knowing how to turn availability into conversations.
