We are excited to do our first international launch of ARCADE Issue 43.1 "A Human Kind of Problem" at Issues Magazine Shop in Toronto.

Join us for drinks, bites, and to pick up a copy of the new issue!

About the Issue:
Design and architecture has the ability to constrain, suppress, embrace, limit or uplift. From anti-homeless benches to wildlife bridges to ICE Detention Facilities, design represents a spectrum of the best and worst intentions of culture, community and our integration with the natural world.

"A Human Kind of Problem" attempts to shine a light on the architects contributing not only to spaces of human suffering, but also to those of healing. It is a call to resist the ubiquitous pressure to contribute to fascist design and to instead advocate for building a world based on comfort and accessibility. It is an invitation to examine the consequences of the spaces we create and to imagine types of design rooted not in control or exclusion, but in healing and care.
