Wendi is a certified Heroic Coach, Workshop Provider, award-winning author, and National Board Certified Teacher now in her 31st year in the classroom. She currently teaches science inside a maximum-security Youth Development Center. 

Along the way, she has served in the U.S. Army, worked as a firefighter, conducted scientific fieldwork in the Arctic and the Sierra Nevada region, and traveled to Antarctica. 

Through it all, she has explored one powerful question: How can we make what matters easier to see, remember, and use?

Today, she’s going to help us bring that question, and our stick figures, into our coaching practice.

No artistic experience is required. Perfectionists are welcome, although their erasers may be placed in temporary protective custody.

Tom Morris is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar, and he holds a double PhD in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Yale University, as well as honorary doctorates in recognition of his public work. He has gone from being one of the most popular professors ever to teach at The University of Notre Dame, where he on the faculty for 15 years, to serving as one of our most active public philosophers, publishing over 30 books, including national and global bestsellers, while bringing the wisdom of the ages to many of the world’s most successful organizations in over 1,200 public talks. 

This most unusual philosopher has been the national spokesman in popular network television commercials for Winnie the Pooh, a most philosophical bear, as well as being a former southern rock and soul-music guitarist. He is also the author of books like True Success, If Aristotle Ran General Motors, Philosophy for Dummies, and Plato’s Lemonade Stand. More recent books include The Everyday Patriot, The Art of Achievement, Stoicism for Dummies, and just out, hot off the press this past week, The Frankenstein Factor: Monster Success and Massive Failure.

Tom has given philosophy talks in a jungle, on a private jet, on beaches and mountains, in a private home’s third floor basketball gym in Texas, on a ship that afterwards sank to the bottom of the Baltic Sea, on the fifty-yard line of the Detroit Lion's Football Stadium, and in basketball arenas and convention centers to as many as 10,000 people in the room.

Tom’s work has also been covered by television networks like ABC, NBC, and CNN, by National Public Radio, and in most major newspapers and magazines around the world, including the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, Fast Company, and the Economist. He’s also a frequent guest on top podcasts and webinars, globally. He’s often been described as the world’s happiest philosopher, and maybe because he’s living proof that a philosophy major can after all be gainfully employed.

Susan Peirce Thompson, PhD is the founder and CEO of Bright Line Eating, a global movement helping hundreds of thousands of people achieve lasting food freedom and sustainable weight loss.

A former addict who found recovery at 20, she went on to earn a degree in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley (summa cum laude) and a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester, where she researches the neuroscience of self-regulation and food addiction.
