According to attachment experts, there are 5 qualities of secure attachment that we can cultivate, which help our nervous systems to feel open, safe, and supported: Safety, Attunement, Soothing, Expressed Delight, and Support of Our Best Self-Development.Our attachment experiences in early childhood shape many aspects of how we experience ourselves. From the attachment perspective, much of our suffering in adulthood comes from confusion about our sense of self and how we expect others to relate to us. Especially about which parts of us are worthy of interest, care, and attention (hint: all of them). In this session, we’ll use imagery to explore the implicit beliefs we hold about our sense of self and we’ll experiment with using secure attachment quality of expressed delight to open up ways our nervous system have become constricted around parts of ourselves.About Josh:Josh is an attachment repair coach and passionate about helping people heal and develop their potential by regulating their nervous systems with attachment repair.
