Organization: Blue Circle Health
Description:
Join Blue Circle Health to learn more about The Diabetes Link — a national nonprofit supporting young adults managing diabetes through community, connection, and practical resources. Kat Lucas, Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy at The Diabetes Link, will walk through the many ways The Link shows up for people, from the earliest days after a diagnosis to the communities and friendships that carry people forward.
Those early days can bring information overload, uncertainty, and more questions than anyone can answer in a single appointment. Medical care is essential, but practical guidance, trustworthy resources, and connection with people who understand the everyday realities can make the path forward feel less overwhelming — and that support doesn't stop once the initial questions are answered.
In this conversation, we'll:
Learn about The Diabetes Link's Newly Diagnosed Experience and the resources built for people navigating a new diagnosis
Explore how The Link's Discord community, college chapters, and in-person meetups give young adults ongoing ways to connect
Discuss how peer perspectives and community can complement clinical care
Share ideas for helping newly diagnosed young adults feel less alone and better equipped for what comes next
Whether you're newly diagnosed, supporting someone who is, or looking for a community to be part of long after diagnosis day, this webinar offers a hopeful look at what a connected, supported life with diabetes can look like.

Description:
We’re so excited to announce our next YJMT meetup in New York City.
It’ll be our usual low-pressure, casual afternoon to meet new people, make new friends, and spend time with the diabetes community. We’ll have a few activities throughout the afternoon that make it easier to connect beyond the usual small talk, but nothing is forced or overly structured.
Our activities are created with people living with type 1 diabetes in mind, but all types of diabetes are welcome.
Our goal with these events has always been pretty simple: come as you are, meet some really great people, and hopefully leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.

This event is geared toward kids ages 8 and under, but the age range is a little flexible, so if your kiddo is just outside of that, feel free to reach out!

Description:
Our annual Fall Meditation Retreat is a unique opportunity to experience a meditation retreat within a safe and supportive community of people living with Type 1 diabetes. Now expanded to four days, the retreat offers space to step away from the demands of daily life and explore how mindfulness can help us meet the challenges, uncertainties, and changes that are part of living with T1D.
Through guided meditation, gentle movement, periods of silence, and community connection, we'll explore our relationship to change and discover practical ways to cultivate greater ease, resilience, and self-compassion in everyday life.
Set amidst the spectacular fall foliage of New York's lower Catskill Mountains, just one hour from New York City, the retreat provides a peaceful backdrop for reflection, rest, and renewal. No meditation experience is required—whether you are new to mindfulness or have an established practice, all are welcome.
