Come out to this FREE #TRASHART PARTY and transform everyday garbage into a work of art.

Join me at the West Los Angeles Regional Branch Library to create a playful collage with things that collect around our homes—junk mail, shipping materials, product packaging and more.

#trashart collage parties at the library are always free, for all ages, and filled with unstructured making so that you can pop in at any time.

Bring your junk journal, travel ephemera, or any unfinished craft to sit in community andget creative with your neighbors. There’s no RSVP necessary, but I’d love to know you’re coming!

What to bring:
* Your own trash (see helpful tips) or use some of ours.
* Water bottle

Helpful tips:
* Look inside your envelopes - many have cool patterns or colors.
* Make sure your trash is clean - food packaging is colorful and fun but be sure to clean it up.
* Remove identifying information - cut out any address labels or other info that you don’t want strangers to see.

Need some inspiration? Check out @trash.art.official for some more ideas and inspo.

 Collect wrappers, receipts, or other paper waste when traveling or just out and about running errands.

CLUSTERFUCK returns for its 9th installment and we'd love for you to be a part of the fuckery! For those who are new to the format, CLUSTERFUCK is a celebration of Art in all its forms. There is no specific theme or medium that we adhere to, we just want to offer artists of all backgrounds and styles a night to come together and exhibit their work. It's a party for everyone, artists and attendees alike. The kind where people can hang out, buy some art, grab a drink, dance a little bit, make a new friend, maybe get a tattoo; like we said, it's a real CLUSTERFUCK.

Come out to this FREE event on Sat. 4/25 from 2-4pm and transform everyday garbage into a work of art.
