REGISTER HERE | DRAFT AGENDAColumbia Basin Conservation District, SCC, and the Center for Technical Development have partnered to bring you a comprehensive Irrigation Water Management Planning training course in Moses Lake, WA, May 13 - 15, 2025. The course prepares students to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to complete comprehensive irrigation management plans with producers and clients on their farms and properties. The course will combine classroom and field exercises designed to achieve specific objectives: mapping, completing field inventories, data analysis, how to find and use resource tools and guides, pros and cons of irrigation systems, evaluating existing irrigation systems, irrigation system operation, irrigation system performance evaluations, soil moisture monitoring tools, and new technologies coming online. We are excited to have both conservation district and NRCS staff attending this course. Our mission is to prepare our students with the skills and tools necessary to work effectively with your clients on irrigation planning and systems management. Assistance is available to help cover training costs. Please indicate your need on the registration form.
