SHPE Familia Calendar

Equipando Padres "In a Box" is program is dedicated to equipping families with the knowledge and tools necessary to support their precollege students in pursuing an engineering degree. Our mission is to integrate cultural values, recognize challenges, and position parents as vital contributors to their student's success. Through the "EP in a Box" initiative, SHPE provides chapters with funding, materials, and training to make a positive impact in their communities. Chapter leaders, please fill out the form below to apply to be part of the program.  We are providing support and funding for chapters to apply to host two EP in a Box events, one in Fall 2026 and the second in Spring 2027. This model is being used to create opportunities for chapters to build long lasting and impactful relationships with community partners as well as parent participants.

It will be focused on student (Thursday arrival) chapter presidents with an opportunity for professional chapter presidents to arrive Friday night and participate in professional programming strategic sessions on Saturday.
