We’re thrilled to kick off the year with our first community meet-up! On Thursday, 12 March, starting at 7:30 PM CET, we’ll gather in the billiard room at Pension Homeland (Kattenburgerstraat 5, 1018 JA Amsterdam), located on the ground floor.
This is a chance to step into the vibrant OPEN community where psychedelic enthusiasts and professionals come together and chat. Above all, it’s about connecting with others who share your passion, sparking meaningful conversations, and most importantly, enjoying a relaxed evening. We look forward to meeting many of you there!
We aim to create a warm, close-knit community where respect is key. Our events are safe and brave spaces – no sexism, racism, homophobia, harassment, or creepy behavior tolerated.
A quick heads-up: we ask everyone to pay for their drinks at the bar when ordering.
Who are we?
OPEN Foundation has been at the intersection of psychedelics, science and therapy since 2007, advocating for the safe and ethical integration of psychedelic medicines into mainstream healthcare. Our community is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach to psychedelic science and therapies and we invite everyone with an interest in this field to join us on this journey.
How to get to Pension Homeland?
If you’re coming from Amsterdam Centraal Station, be mindful that it can get quite busy, especially around rush hour. Allow yourself extra time to navigate through the station and make your way to Pension Homeland. To get there, you can take tram line 26 (direction of IJburg), and get off at the Kattenburgerstraat stop. The venue is just a short walk from there. Alternatively, a 15-minute walk from the station will also bring you directly to the location while enjoying the views of Amsterdam canals.
Don’t worry if you’re running a little late! There’s no formal program for the evening, so if you arrive a bit later, you are still in for some good chats.
