👉 more information 👈 Altered States Fest is a multidisciplinary event organized by the Neuroscience & Psychology Section of the Mind Foundation as part of the Essen-based scientific festival "Wissenschaftssommer". The event explores altered states of consciousness from scientific, artistic, and experiential perspectives while fostering connections between researchers, artists, and the public. The program includes expert talks on the therapeutic, neuroscientific, and recreational use of psychedelics, a sound bath meditation workshop with indigenous instruments, and an immersive visionary art exhibition by local artists.
