How to apply a passcode to an RSVP event

This guide explains how you require a user to enter an access code to view the RSVP event page. AddEvent supports the use of an access code that prevents unauthorized users from viewing your event details on your event landing page. 

Creating an access code to view the event page

From the Event page:

Scroll down to the Event landing page section. Follow the steps below to enable an access code

1. Type the access code of your choice into the white bar
2. Toggle On

When a user clicks on the RSVP button from your website, landing page, or email, they will be directed to your event landing page and presented with the screen below. They will be prompted to enter the passcode for the event before being able to register.
