About the role

You are an experienced Head of Growth with a track record of successfully scaling revenue and customer growth at early-stage SaaS companies. You are able to do this in an efficient way, owning and hitting aggressive revenue goals while helping build and then adhering to a set budget. You have experience building scrappy and high-performing growth teams to support continued rapid growth and can skillfully collaborate with product and engineering teams to execute complex growth initiatives. To date, AddEvent has grown almost entirely through organic search and PLG. As our Head of Growth, you will continue improving these channels while also building out and executing AddEvent’s first comprehensive go-to-market strategy. You will report directly to the CEO and work with company leadership to make critical business decisions while also getting your hands dirty and personally executing growth initiatives on a daily basis.

This is a full-time, in-person (hybrid) position in our San Francisco, California office. This role comes with an excellent compensation package, including a competitive salary, equity, a performance-based annual bonus, and top-tier health, dental, and vision coverage.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Setting strategy: you will collaborate with the CEO and growth team to set clear growth targets and create a detailed growth strategy around hitting those targets. You will ensure that growth initiatives are coordinated with product and engineering, and will prioritize aggressively to keep the team focused and working towards the specific growth goals we have set.
  • Executing on projects: you will be responsible for building out customer personas and driving the right types of traffic to our website via growth initiatives and sophisticated integrated marketing campaigns. You will be expected to measure user interactions with our website and software and to design and run experiments to optimize specific KPIs such as conversion rates, customer usage, churn, and LTV.
  • Forecasting and analysis: you will build and own a growth model and work closely with company leadership to forecast the potential financial impact of our growth efforts. You will combine and analyze data from various sources to measure the success (or otherwise) of growth projects as they progress and share information on how AddEvent is doing relative to its growth goals.
  • Leading collaboration: You will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration, driving everyone towards the common growth goals. This will involve working closely with both internal (customer success, product, engineering) and external (customers, end-users) stakeholders to ensure all needs are met.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving and data skills, including the ability to collect, manipulate, and interpret different types of data to drive business decisions
  • Experience building and scaling effective growth teams

About you
